June 8, 2022 marked the Fiftieth Anniversary of our Graduation from Central High. On August 12th & 13th of 2022, over 150 classmates and guests gathered to celebrate this momentous occasion. Now let's take a tour of the website.

If you are new to the website, we have lots of pages for you to visit. Even if you are familar with the site, you still might want to take a quick look. We have made several updates/additions to the site since the 50th. So let’s take a quick look at what we have out there.

Our Website was developed using a "flex" technique. You'll notice, as you move from one device to another, the site modifies how information is displayed, depending on the size and orientation of each device's screen.

The design adheres to a "two clicks or less" rule. This means accessing any page/location, within the website, requires no more than two clicks of the mouse. The design takes into account our "target" group as well, using larger font sizes throughout the website.

You are currently viewing the “Home” page. This page provides general class information and lets you know when important information is added to other pages. Be sure to check this page's "Quick Notes" side panel for current updates and more.

The Memoriam page includes the name and thumbnail image of each lost classmate. Hovering over the thumbnail will enlarge the image. If you know or believe a Classmate has passed, but is not listed, please let us know.

The Officers/Committee page provides lists of our Class Officers and current members of the Reunion Committee. Hovering over the picture gives you a better look at our Class Officers.

Our Activities/Events page is one of the more important pages on the Website. This page provides information on upcoming community events and other planned Class activities. Want to invite our classmates to a class event? Perhaps a BYOE (Bring Your Own Everything). Let us know and we will post an announcement in the Events section. Is there something happening in your area you want to let classmates know about? Shoot us a note and we will post an announcement or link to the event in our Community Events section.

The Our History page should be considered a "work in progress". The page starts off with some basic historical information about the class. You can help develop this page by offering suggestions for items/topics you think will demonstrate the heart of the Class of 1972. You'll notice this page has room for links to pictures taken at each of our Reunions. You'll also notice there are more Got Some?'s, than links, and we're not talking milk! The Fun Stuff page is loaded with fun facts about our class, links to other interesting sites, and more, all for your information and enjoyment. Remember the "Hi Trib"? You'll find a link to the June 7th, 1972 issue here. And don't forget to check out "Music Central", just be sure you're wearing dancing shoes. If you have something you'd like to add, let us know and we will post it here.

The Your Contact Info page provides a simple way to send us your contact information. Just complete the form and follow the directions to send us your information. To protect your privacy, this information will not be stored on-line.

If you need to contact us, for any reason, the Contact Us page explains the various means you can use to do so. You'll also find links to our private Facebook and MEWE Groups on this page. Click on either link and join one or both groups and enjoy some fun with classmates.

The "Private Side" offers a secure means of communicating confidential information to classmates. Access to this portion of the website requires individually assigned credentials and is limited to members of the Class of '72. If you don't remember how to get access to the Private Side, e-mail "lacrossecentralhighschool1972@gmail.com" for assistance in establishing your unique access to this side. You'll find more about the Private side on its main page.

As you review the website, you'll find links to pages, files, or other destinations. Some links take you to "off Nav Bar" pages, where you will find ....well, you'll just have to look for yourself! Most of the "off Nav Bar" pages have links to return you to the originating page, however, you can always use the Navigation Bar to select any page you choose.

Other links will open new tabs in your browser, providing access to one of the various .pdf documents or forms. Still others will take you to "outside" websites we believe will be of importance or interest to you. When you want to return to our site, just close the newly opened browser tab, or, if you want to return to it later, leave the tab open and click on the tab containing our website name.
